Ghana-born, Rotterdam-based trumpeter Peter Somuah brings together jazz, funk, soul and traditional West African music with subtle touches of electronics. Inspired by trumpet greats Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard and Roy Hargrove, his warm, melancholic sound meets the rhythmic energy of his Ghanaian roots. Winner of the 2022 Edison Jazz Award, Somuah creates music that moves effortlessly between cultures, continents and grooves.

Singer and composer Sam Nera creates experimental indie pop that moves between neo-soul, jazz and electronic music. Her soft vocals drift through repetitive phrases, shifting layers and hypnotic soundscapes, exploring themes of grief, healing and transformation. Inspired by artists such as Cleo Sol, James Blake, Moses Sumney and Radiohead, she is set to release her debut album Space Between on PIP Records in late 2026.
